SERVICING
Air Conditioning systems require air to work, it may sound simple, but there is more science behind this than you might think! In the A/C world, we cannot destroy heat, but instead we move it. Sometimes from outside into your space for heating, other times from inside your space for cooling. For A/C systems to work, we must ensure that both the indoor (evaporator) and outdoor (condenser) units are kept clean and free of debris.
When these units get blocked, energy efficiency is the first thing that suffers. Your system has to work harder to move the same amount of air, which increases power consumption, reduces lifespan of components, and takes longer to perform the same task.
With a A/C Service, we take care of everything. Our process covers:
- Full filter clean
- Full coil clean on both condenser and evaporator
- Electrical inspection
- Temperature test (checking for correct function)
- Drain pan disinfection and drain line check
- Physical unit clean
Once complete, you receive a service report, and if there are any remedial works needed these would be discussed with you.
BREAKDOWN
As with all technology, sometimes things go wrong. We offer a breakdown service for when this happens. We will attend site, assess the equipment you have, and start to troubleshoot the problem. Once we know what is wrong, we can give you a price to put things right.
As Air Conditioning units contain refrigeration gases, its vital that they are repaired properly using the correct techniques. We may have to evacuate and recover the refrigerant, perform repairs, then recharge your system to its design specifications. This type of service can only be performed by a registered and trained F-Gas technician.
We aim to always be transparent and upfront on what we believe the problem is, and will give you an estimation of price to put things right.
If we believe that a system is uneconomical to repair, we will tell you, and give you options on how to move forward.
